St. Bede Town End Farm was a church which closed for regular worship in 2012. Since then a charity has been set up to run the building for community use. We now lease the building from the Church of England and work is underway to provide a fantastic community space for rent to groups and individuals.

FAB Fridays

FAB stands for Faith/Fun/Food/ at Bede and is a program of Bible based activities from 11.30 - 5pm on Fridays in term time run by North Wearside Parish  with the help of Unlock, an urban mission organisation.


Jam Club

3.30pm - 5pm 

£1 per child  and 50p for extra siblings

Bible based craft, games, food and mayhem!

This has stopped for the summer holidays and we will be back later in October.

Little Lambs

A messy kind of playgroup church for pre-school children and their carers.

1.15 - 2.45

£1 per child and 50p for extra siblings

all crafts and  healthy snack included.

Faith and Bible Group

FAB - Faith and Bible - all part of the @ Bede activities

If you've never really thought about Jesus and his love for you then this is a great place to start.

 We share and learn together.

Space available to hire

There is a wide variety of groups who meet here. Your group could meet at excellent rates or you could book an event or party.

A new booking procedure will come into effect this September after the refurbishments. Watch this space.
