A lead role in the Beacon Project listening, consulting, planning, recruiting, training and managing a team of staff, that will include local people and volunteers.
The Family Chaplain’s key purpose is to facilitate and nurture the discipleship of children and families in the Parish of North Wearside building on established provision and developing it further.
The Youth and Children’s Community Worker is key in developing our youth provision and programme; building relationships and connections with local community groups and schools.
Hayley will be doing some theological study and learning about aspects of parish ministry all in a voluntary capacity. She has a particular interest in children's ministry and hopes to grow in skills and confidence.
Frankie is the voluntary finance officer for the Beacon project. She brings skills in administration and planning and has been a real help in the groundwork planning for the employment of our team.
Jess Holland and Michael Peacock are the sustainability officer and project manager for Communities of Hope, Durham. They are here to support all the projects like the Beacon Project in Durham Diocese.
